Sporty Little Events/Fitness
Fitness is a condition that helps us look, feel and do our best. Evidence suggests that increasing physical activity and physical fitness may improve academic performance. Fitness program is provided for our students to improve their physical and mental health.
This programme focuses on the fundamentals of movement such as locomotor and anon-locomotor skills, direction, pathway, balance and manipulation body and spatial awareness. The child is introduced to the basic skills of sports at this stage. We use possibly high standard, developmentally appropriate activities like kicking and trapping, dribbling, volleying and striking, stunts and tumbling,parachute etc. for skill development without overwhelming the children while ensuring personal enjoyment.
Physical Education (Grade III – XII)
Physical Education is an education through physical activities for the development of total personality of the child to its fullness and perfection in the body, mind and spirit. Our students get the skills they need to engage in a variety of sports including football, basket ball, kho-kho, kabaddi and other athletic games.
